How do teams earn a Wild Card Spot?
There will also be 2 Wild Card teams added for every paid league. The Wild Card teams will be awarded to the non-league champion teams from all 25 leagues with the highest total points scored from NFL Week 1 through Week 12. Some leagues may have zero Wild Card teams while others may have 3 or more.
Example:
If there are 25 leagues we will have 50 Wild Card spots. We will rank the 375 teams (11 teams per league X 25 leagues = 275 teams) that did not win their league Championship from 1 (most points) through 275 (least points) based on total points scored by submitted starting line-ups from NFL Week 1 through NFL Week 12. The Top 50 of the 275 teams will earn a Wild Card spot and compete with the 25 League Champions for the $10,000 grand prize and 3 other cash prizes from $2,500 to $500.

What happens if The NCOFF only has 10 paid leagues instead of the goal of 25 leagues?
We feel very confident that we there will be 25 paid leagues. But in the event The NCOFF does not fill 25 leagues, prize money will be prorated based on the number of paid leagues. *All prize money will be determined based on total number of leagues (illustrations throughout web site are based on 25 leagues). If there is less than 25 paid leagues, all prizes will be pro-rated based on total paid leagues (number of paid leagues divided by 25).
If there are only 10 paid leagues, then the prize money used for illustrations based on 25 leagues would be prorated by taking the 10 paid leagues divided by the goal of 25 leagues which equals 40%. All prizes would be paid out at 40% of the goal of 4 league payouts. All League Champions would still earn $250 for the League Championship, but the Grand Prize and all other payouts would be paid out at 40% of the illustrations that used 25 leagues. The $10,000 Grand Prize based on 25 paid leagues would be prorated to $4,000 based only on 10 paid leagues ($10,000 X 40%). The remaining 3 cash prizes would also be paid out at a 40% prorate versus the illustrations that were based on 25 paid leagues.
